Animations and News Reports

The year fives continued to use their animating skills this week, making an animation of outer space and a news report to go with it.  The task was to create an animation using Do Ink Animation, and an animation using play dough and iMotion Pro, and then to put the two animations together using Do Ink Green Screen.  They then had to put their animation into to iMovie and create a news report to go with their animations.

News Report The content of your news report is detailed and relevant to the animation you have made. It is presented in a realistic news report style. Your voice can be heard clearly in your recording. The content of your news report displays some detail and is linked to the animation you have made. It is similar to a realistic news report. Your news report requires more detail and needs to be more closely linked to the animation you have made.   The language used needs to be more realistic.
Creativity Your ideas display an excellent level of creativity in your animation and how it is linked to your news report, and other features included in your news report. iMovie Features Your iMovie displays excellent use of relevant titles, subtitles and music. It looks like a realistic news report. Your iMovie displays satisfactory use of relevant titles, subtitles and music. It needs to look more like a realistic news report.
