Natural Disaster News Reports

Well at last, here they are, our finished news reports!

Our year fives did an amazing job of researching their natural disaster, making an animation on it, and filming their news reports.  The finished projects were put together using iMovie.

Take a look at a small sample of what we achieved:

Animations and News Reports

The year fives continued to use their animating skills this week, making an animation of outer space and a news report to go with it.  The task was to create an animation using Do Ink Animation, and an animation using play dough and iMotion Pro, and then to put the two animations together using Do Ink Green Screen.  They then had to put their animation into to iMovie and create a news report to go with their animations.

Here are a couple of examples of what the groups came up with:

We had this rubric to help us know what was important when creating our video:

All the finished products were excellent!  Well done year fives!
